Carol Hardison Obituary

Farmville - Carol Jean Odham Hardison, age 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Born in Greene County, NC on April 3, 1935 to the late Charlie and Etta Rouse Odham. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Ray Hardy Hardison, Sr., sisters, Lucille Beamon, Addie Hendricks, Evelyn Wood, Grace Edge, and Geraldine Rouse; and brothers, Ben, Robert, Charlie, Mack and Stuart.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Wanda West; her son, Frederick West, Jr. and wife, Betty Gipson West; step-son, Ray Hardy Hardison Jr.; her grandson Frederick O. West, III and wife, Natalie; great-granddaughter, Madison Lucille West; and special niece/sister, Rachel Hutton.

A graveside service will be held Saturday March 21, at 11:00 A.M. at Hollywood Cemetery.
